1. King’s Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) will respect the confidentiality of client documents and payment information. All information I collect is used only for the purpose of editing your project.

2. The client agrees to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless King’s Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) from any and all liabilities, penalties, losses, damages, costs, expenses, legal fees, causes of action, or claims caused by or resulting indirectly from the use of the service which damages the client or any other party in any way. I strongly recommend that clients keep a backup copy of any document sent by regular mail or email.

3. King’s Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) reserves the right to refuse service to anyone at my sole discretion. Manuscripts containing pornography or gratuitous sex, violence, or substance abuse will not be accepted and will be returned to the author.

4. The client agrees to supply King’s Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) with a current and truthful name, e-mail address, street address, and phone number for my records.

5. The client agrees to supply appropriate, timely payment in U.S. funds for services received. Payment shall be made by credit card or through PayPal, unless other payment arrangements have been made. Clients who do not have a PayPal account can sign up for one at https://www.paypal.com/.

6. King's Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) provides electronic editing. All documents must be submitted in Word format. All editing will be done in track changes.The maximum number of editing rounds per project is three.

7. King’s Ransom Writing and Editing Services (Sharon King) reserves the right to modify or change services, rates, and terms at any time without notice.
